Autumn Splendour Photographic Workshop - Hex River Valley : 2 - 4 June, 2017 Cost of workshop : R1500.00 pp Excl. Accommodation, Meals/Refreshments & Travel

Every year something magical happens in the beautiful Hex River around autumn as the vineyards in the valley throw away their summer coats in preparation for the winter ahead, and as the leaves turn amazing colors of red, orange yellow and brown, we will be there to photograph this once in a year event.

This photographic workshop is ideal for beginner photographers, who still think that "M" on their camera means "Mystery" but also intermediate photographers that would like to improve their photographic techniques and the composition of their photographs. Our practical photographic sessions will be during the golden hours of the day, to get the best light.

Our accommodation, dinner, lectures, feedback sessions will be at Arbeid Adelt Guest House.

Attendees not requiring accommodation can join the workshop for R1500 per person, including dinner.

Transport from Cape Town is also  available at R250 per person.

Starry Nights Photographic Workshop in Sutherland : 24 - 26 March and 20 - 22 Oct., 2017 Cost of workshop : R1500.00 pp Excl. Accommodation, Meals/Refreshments & Travel

"I'll get you to the best spot to get the best shot!"

And the best spot for star trail and milky way photographs is Sutherland- one of the coldest places in South Africa, but also the spot that is best for stargazing. That is why SALT (South Africa's Large Telescope) is located in Sutherland. Our evenings are filled with photographing the stars, first at SALT (special permission is required for this) and then at an old abandoned farm in the area. I also included a stargazing session at Sterland, with our very knowledgeable host, Jurg Wagener.

Our days are filled with lectures, feedback and stacking of the photographs, leisure time and a day time tour of SALT. On our return journey we step back in time with a visit to the historical Matjiesfontein.
